On Friday , September 4th, at 10:55 p.m., a pick-up truck struck two pedestrians who were walking southbound on the east side of 49th Street North. Photos of the truck are below.

It happened as the pedestrians were crossing 40th Ave. N. The white pick-up truck, which was southbound on 49th St. N. , made a left turn onto 40th Ave. N. and struck both pedestrians.

The truck didn't stop and left the scene eastbound.

The vehicle is a white single cab, extended bed Ford F150 or a Ram pick-up truck. There should be damage on the front.

Both victims, a 19-year-old woman and a 20 year-old man, were transported to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital with serious injuries.

At this time, both pedestrians are in stable condition. This is an on-going investigation.
