On October 17th at 6:16 pm, a pedestrian, 69-year-old Jeffery Mounce, was walking in the curb lane in the 3700-Block of 34th St N.

A red Chevrolet Tahoe was also traveling northbound in the curb lane when it struck Mounce with the front of the vehicle as he was crossing the curb lane.

Mounce was transported to Orlando Health Bayfront with serious injuries where he later died on October 19th.

The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
