St. Petersburg Police investigators arrested Matthew Williams, today for the May 25th death of Peter-Austin Afentakis, and charged with the following;

Jacob Carreras, was also charged with the second-degree murder of Peter-Austin Afentakis, earlier this week.
Investigators say shortly before 3 a.m. on May 25th, Carreras and Williams got into a verbal altercation with Afentakis outside in the 100 block of 1st Avenue North.
Both suspects shot at Afentakis, and he later died of his injuries. A second victim suffered a minor injury.
This is still an active investigation.

Jacob Carreras, 25, was charged with the second-degree murder of Peter-Austin Afentakis, on May 25th. His booking photo is below.
Investigators say shortly before 3 a.m. on May 25th, Carreras and Afentakis got into a verbal altercation while outside in the 100 block of 1st Avenue North.
Carreras shot at Afentakis, and the victim later died of his injuries.
St. Petersburg Police had a warrant for his arrest, and the U.S. Marshals Service took him into custody in Hillsborough County. He will be extradited to Pinellas County to face charges.
This is still an active investigation.

The victim is identified as Peter-Austin Afentakis, 31.

There was an altercation shortly before 3 a.m. near 1st Ave N and Beach Dr NE and one man ( late 20's) was shot.
Officers responded to the report of gunshots and located the victim.
Rescue transported him to the hospital, but he died of his injuries a few hours later. His name will be released pending next of kin notification.
Police are still searching for the suspect.
