Serious Crash Involving a 15-Year-Old-UPDATE

At 9:49 am, officers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian at the intersection of 9th Ave N at 25th St N.

A Honda Accord was traveling eastbound on 9th Ave N in the median lane approaching 25th St N when it struck a pedestrian in the marked crosswalk.

The pedestrian, a 15-year-old boy, activated the crosswalk lights and proceeded to cross 9th Ave N when he was struck. He was taken to All Children's Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

The intersection was closed but has since reopened. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. This is in an ongoing investigation.

The intersection is shut down pending the investigation. We ask that drivers seek an alternate route.

At 9:49 am, officers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian at the intersection of 9th Ave N at 25th St N.

The pedestrian, a 15-year-old boy, was taken to All Children's Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver remained at the scene. This is in an ongoing investigation.
