Fatal Crash at 3501 54th Av. S.

Shortly after noon, a woman driving a sedan accelerated for an unknown reason in the CVS parking lot at 3501 54th Avenue South. The vehicle hit a tree near the side of a building.
The driver was taken to Orlando Bayfront Hospital, where she later died. Her name will not be released until next of kin is notified.
No other cars were involved and no one else was injured. The crash is under investigation.
