Shooting Investigation - 3101 Emerson Ave. S.

Shorty after 2 p.m., a vehicle crashed into a parked car at the Robco Transmission & Auto , 3101 Emerson Avenue South.

When rescue arrived , it was determined that the driver had suffered a gunshot wound. The driver, a young adult man, was transported to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital.

A child , who was also in the car, did not appear to be injured, but was taken to Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital to be checked out.

Investigators are actively working to determine what happened. It is very early in the investigation and there is no other information to be released at this time.
