At 9:44 a.m., a blue Ford F150 Raptor was northbound on Dr MLK Jr St N when attempting to make a left-hand turn onto 9th Avenue North. A yellow Suzuki dirt bike was traveling south on Dr MLK Jr St N, approaching the intersection when he entered the marked bicycle lane to bypass other vehicles.

The motorcyclist, a 20-year-old man, struck the rear passenger side of the Ford F150 Raptor. He was transported to St. Anthony's Hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

The driver remained at the scene. The next of kin has not been notified.

The investigation is still ongoing.
