The victim of the hit and run late in the evening of Friday, October 3, has been identified as Victoria Lynn Morley, and her next of kin has been notified.

Also, investigators would like to speak to the driver of a car seen in the area around the time of the crash. Video of the car can be seen below, first in real-time,then repeated in slow motion.

Morley was walking west to east across Dartmoor Street North, at Joyce Terrace North, when an unknown vehicle struck her. The driver fled the scene.

A passing motorist came upon her and called 911 at about 11:30 p.m. The victim later died from her injuries.
