The St. Petersburg Police Department invites the community to join us tonight for an evening of family-friendly fun during our annual National Night Out celebration from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., in the parking lot of Tyrone Square Mall, 6901 22nd Ave N.
This free public event offers a wonderful opportunity for community members to connect with local law enforcement. Attendees can enjoy free food and giveaways. There will be a bike rodeo, police vehicles, a SWAT display, and fire trucks!
Special appearances by McGruff the Crime-Fighting Dog, our superhero K9 officers, and police horses: Storm and Hero.
All of these activities are made possible due to the support of our sponsors - The city of St. Petersburg, Tyrone Square, Orlando Health, Bayfront Hospital, CXS, JCPenney, Tasco, Sam's Club, HCA Healthcare, Pier Events, Duke Energy, Publix, Grazzi, St. Pete Fools Charities, Colony Grill, and First Responders Children's Foundation.
National Night Out offers us a chance to promote police-community partnerships, raise crime prevention awareness, and personally greet the residents we protect and serve.
Anyone with media questions, interview requests, or seeking more information about our National Night Out, please contact the Police Department's Community Awareness Division at (727) 893-7550.
