Just after 8:30 am this morning, a Chevrolet Malibu was traveling in the parking lot of the Circle K at 10600 Roosevelt Blvd N. The driver, Johnnie Miller (8/26/61), collided with a parked Toyota Tacoma at a gas pump, then drove over a traffic cone before parking his vehicle. After exiting the car, he collapsed.

Miller was transported to HCA Florida Northside Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The next of kin has been notified.

It is suspected that he suffered a medical episode. The medical examiner will determine the official cause of death.
