Officers arrested Keith Robertson on four counts of cruelty to animal charges after the remains of two cats and a dog were found inside his home at 164 44th Ave. NE.

On Saturday, July 5, 2025, St. Petersburg police and Pinellas County Animal Services responded to Robertson's home following neighbor complaints of possible animal neglect.

Upon entering the house for a well-being check, officers discovered two cats and a dog in advanced stages of decomposition. A third cat was found alive but appeared starved and infested with fleas.

Animal Services took possession of the surviving cat for treatment.
