Rolling Road Closures along 49th Street Coming Sunday

Release posted on 12-05-25 at 10:01 AM

Expect significant traffic delays on 49th Street north and south on Sunday, Dec. 7, due to this year's Bert's Barracuda Harley-Davidson Toy Run.

It's the one day of the year when motorcycles take over a portion of 49th Street for a good cause. All participants will be riding motorbikes.

The toy "run" begins at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Bert's Barracuda Harley-Davidson, 10525 49th St. N., and travels through several cities in Pinellas County, including St. Petersburg, to the beach communities then back to Bert's.

Police officers will be stationed along 49th Street north and south to temporarily shut down intersecting streets to traffic for the motorcycle procession, then reopen them to normal traffic flow.

The event is expected to wrap up by noon on Sunday.

Proceeds to benefit families of Bert's Salute to America Foundation.
