Man Arrested After Running into Traffic with a Baby

On August 14th, 2025, at 3:05 p.m,,Police were called to assist in a domestic dispute. Treyvon Maynor's domestic partner left home with her child. A friend picked her up in a vehicle and a few blocks away, Maynor caught up with the vehicle and blocked the car.

He entered the vehicle, assaulted his domestic partner and took a one-year-old girl out of the car seat and ran off with the child on his back. He ran across a parking lot, and eventually into traffic on 34th Street South at 15th Avenue South.

Officers pursued him, and an officer was able to run behind him and grab the child's legs and pull her from his back. The child was not hurt.

Other officers stopped and arrested Treyvon Maynor.

He faces charges for:
