Serious Bodily Crash Involving a Motorcycle

On Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, Hector Jarquin Urbina, 28, of Pinellas Park, died of his injuries at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.

At 6:42 a.m. this morning, a Toyota sedan was making a left-hand turn onto SW Monroe Circle North from 4th Street North, when a motorcyclist traveling southbound on 4th Street North struck the vehicle.

The motorcyclist, a 28-year-old man, was thrown from the motorcycle when a subsequent crash occurred involving his motorcycle and a GMC pick-up truck that was also traveling southbound on 4th Street North.

The motorcyclist was transported to Bayfront and is stable but in critical condition.

This is still an ongoing investigation.
