For Immediate Release
Report number: 2021-
Date of original release: 11-30-21

RIP K9 Titan

Release posted on 11-30-21 at 8:35 a.m.

We are sad to announce that K9 Titan is no longer with us. After a recent cancer diagnosis, he crossed the rainbow bridge to doggy heaven on Monday.

You may recall Titan was shot as he tried to apprehend a suspect in March, 2019. It took surgery and months of rehabilitation before he could join his team again patrolling the streets of St. Petersburg in October, 2019.

Titan bravely served the residents of the City of St. Petersburg for five years and his team will miss him.

RIP Titan.
