Today St. Petersburg Police responded to a call just after 3:30am for a woman in need of assistance at 634 60th Avenue South.

Officers arrived and discovered Gloria Davis (DOB 10/05/1963) deceased with multiple stab wounds.

Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit responded and found probable cause to arrest Javarick Henderson Jr. (DOB 03/01/2006) and charge him with 2nd degree murder.

The investigation into this case is still open and active.
