Police are investigating a domestic related shooting that occurred at 6980 21st St., North at about 4:30a.m.

A father and son were involved in an ongoing argument. Both the son, Austin Thomas Cornett , DOB 1/18/78 and his father ,Craig James Cornett DOB 1/5/56, had weapons.

The father fired, injuring his son. Austin Cornett is in critical but stable condition. This case is under investigation.

Charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
