On December 29, 2018, during an undercover operation, detectives came in contact with a 35-year-old man who attempted to solicit sex with a person he believed to be a 14-year-old girl. He sent “her” (an officer) lewd photos of himself online and offered to pay her cab fare, so they could meet.

Jaciel Tellez-Arroyo (DOB 12-21-1983) was arrested on 01/02/2019 at his home (625 Pent Street Tarpon Springs, FL 34689) and faces up to five years for each of the following third degree felonies;

1. F.S.S 847.0135 (3)(a) Use of a computer to seduce/solicit/entice a child to commit sex acts.
2. F.S.S. 847.0135(4)(a) Travel to seduce, solicit, lure a child to commit sex acts.
3. F.S.S 847.0138 Transmission of materials harmful to minors to a minor by electronic device or Equipment.
