Victim: Liamar Matos-Gonzalez (DOB 05/27/2002)

At about 4:45 p.m., a 2014 Jeep Patriot, driven by Lynnsey Terepka (DOB 09/28/1989), was southbound on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Street North, in the eastern curb lane. A 2014 Ford Mustang, driven by Kayla Enget, (DOB 06/04/1991), was southbound in the center lane. As the vehicles approached 3rd Avenue North, the Ford Mustang turned left from the center lane and struck the Jeep Patriot.

Once the vehicles separated, the Ford Mustang drove onto the sidewalk on the southeast corner of the intersection where a pedestrian, Liamar Matos-Gonzalez (DOB 05/27/2002) was standing. The Ford Mustang struck Matos-Gonzalez, pushing her into a tree where she died from her injuries.
